From January 25 to 28, 2024, the Puerto Rico National Guard, State Guard Command conducted its Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) 2024 at Fort Allen, Juana Diaz, P.R. with the purpose of preparing for the 2024 Hurricane season. Over 800 soldiers and airmen successfully completed their medical evaluation. The Puerto Rico National Guard, State Guard Command continues to innovate and improving its administrative procedures for the benefit of the men’s and women’s who make up the Puerto Rico National Guard, State Guard Command. We congratulate all the leaders who made this mission possible, especially CW2 Myrna Perez (JFHQ), WO1 Josephine Alvelo (JFHQ), and their team of enlisted personnel who participated over the past few days. To all of them, thank you for your support and commitment.

Leaders from the 400th Brigade participate in a Community Service Mission, donating Christmas toys to a care home.

On January 04th, 2024, prior to the celebration of the Three Kings Day, officers and soldiers from the 400th Multifunctional Services Brigade of the Puerto Rico National Guard, State Command with the Commander Colonel Juan C. Santiago participated in a Community Service Mission, gifting Christmas toys to a Care Home for abused and special needs Childrens localized in the center region of the island. The happy smile on a child's face is priceless. It has been a grateful experience. We must thank our true heroes for this humble gesture. The soldiers of the 100MP, 200S&S, 500EN Battalions, who’s made this mission possible, by donating these gifts. Their contribution touches each Childrens heart for the rest of their life’s. A lot of blessings to all and may this new year 2024 be a prosperous one and full of many positive experiences.

The Puerto Rico State Guard Command honors soldiers and airman in inaugural Retiree Ceremony.

On December 3rd, 2023, we honor and recognize the exceptional service of the soldiers and airmen’s who have fulfilled their mission in the Puerto Rico State Guard Command. Their commitment, bravery, and courage were acknowledged during the retirement ceremony held at the PRNG Headquarters in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The presence of the Adjutant General of Puerto Rico, Major General Miguel A. Méndez, and the Commanding General of Puerto Rico State Guard Command, Brigadier General Edrick Ramírez, elevated the significance of their contribution.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the years of sacrifice and responsibility, as well as the unwavering commitment shown in service to the nation and country. 
We acknowledge not only the effort and dedication of these brave men and women but also the dedication of their families, who, with their unconditional support, enabled their loved ones to fulfill this noble mission. It's thanks to this family unity that our soldiers and aviators excelled with excellence and professionalism.

The legacy of these heroes will endure in the history of the Puerto Rico National Guard, State Guard Command and in the hearts of those who value their sacrifice and dedication. Their inspiring example continues to guide future generations of military personnel.

The Puerto Rico State Guard Command has established the first Advance Individual Training for 42A-Human Resources. This is the first of several AIT that the Military Training Command will be offering to Guard's members. 

The Military Training Command (MTC) celebrated the graduation of the Class 001-23, 42A - Human Resources School for Commissioned Officers and Non-Commissioned Officer at Camp Santiago (CSMTC), Salinas, PR, on November 18, 2023. After seven days of training, 39 Guard's members (soldiers and airmen) of the Puerto Rico State Guard Command received their graduation certificates from MAJ (PR) Jose Rivera - MTC Commandant, CSM (PR) Cesar Crespo, MTC Commandant Sergeant Major, and CW2 (PR) Myrna Perez, MTC Instructor.
